A Week in the Life of KUFC #13

Within the last seven days, here’s what our teams got up to:

Wildcats/Squad Girls:

The Wildcats and Squad Girls welcomed 27 girls to their session at Kinloss on Wednesday night. They all enjoyed some fun and sociable football with the individual trophies being handed out to Georgie, Eliza, Hollie and Izzy.

U7:

Our Piranhas locked horns with Springhead Rangers on Wednesday night. The whole team had an outstanding display and it consisted of fantastic passes and some superb footwork on the pitch. Well done to Henley and Freddie on being named as the MOTM. On Saturday, the boys took part in a tournament and had a tough round of games. However, they fought hard and all had a great day with lots of laughs and fun.

The Cobras put in a fantastic performance against Westella & Willerby Wolves on Sunday. The boys were in phenomenal form and all put in a massive shift. Congrats to Alfie and Miller on receiving their MOTM trophies.

U8:

On Tuesday night, the Falcons and Hawks played each other at Kinloss. Both sides put in great displays and had some good contests all over the pitch. For the Falcons, the MOTM awards were given to Ellis and Vinnie. For the Hawks, Freddie and Jack were named as the MOTM.

In addition to this, our Moonstones had a game on Saturday. The entire team had an amazing display and really enjoyed their football. Piper took home both POTM awards.

U9:

During midweek, our Jaguars enjoyed a productive night of futsal action. This saw them play some great passes and exhibit fantastic pressing. Mutu picked up the MOTM award.

The Pearls were in action against a very good Cottingham Rangers side on Saturday. They played out two fantastic and well matched games. Olivia and Halle were named as the POTM.

The following day, our Leopards and Pumas faced each other at Kinloss. Both teams fought hard and made it a fantastic match for all those that watched from the sidelines. The individual awards for the Leopards went to Charlie, Jake and Jenson.

As well as this, the Tigers hosted Hessle Rangers at Kinloss. There was some fantastic football on display from both sides. Stan and the kitten both accrued MOTM trophies.

Our Lynxes entertained Swanland at Kinloss. All the players showed excellent desire and well done to Jenson and Iestyn on their MOTM awards.

U10:

The Krystals had a reverse fixture away to South Cave Panthers on Wednesday night. The sun was shining and the girls played some great football. Amelia, Jess and Layla all received POTM trophies. On Saturday, the girls went to Hessle Sporting Club Pandas and faced very tough opposition. Layla and Jess picked up the POTM awards.

Our Kings faced Great Driffield AFC on Sunday and had a very good runout. Jenson, Freddie, Ben and Max all collected MOTM awards.

U11:

The Cyclones were up against Barham AFC on Sunday. The team put in a great performance and did exactly what was talked about at training. Ollie, Harley and Philip all secured individual accolades.

It was a very tight game for our Tornados against Sproatley Tigers. Both teams played excellent football throughout the game. Max received the MOTM trophy.

U12:

On Wednesday night, the Hornets played some futsal. It was a different way of playing for the boys which saw them navigate quick, narrow spaces and exhibit end to end play.

Meanwhile, our Ambers took on East Riding Rangers Reds. It was an outstanding game with some fantastic football played by both sides. Bella and Lacie received the POTM trophies.

The Sharks hosted Hessle Rangers Azzurri at Kinloss on Thursday night. It was a tough contest, but the boys put in a strong performance and all showed brilliant determination. The following night, the team played four games of futsal against Westella & Willerby. Freddie was handed the Star of the Week award. They then had a trip to Hessle Sporting Club Hulks on Sunday and had a tough game against a well organised side. GB was named as the MOTM.

U13:

Our Typhoons faced East Riding Rangers on Tuesday night. They put in a terrific performance against a really strong side and the boys all worked their socks off. Blake and Ollie both took home MOTM trophies. On Sunday, the team had a committed display against a tricky Springhead FC side. Joe, Mason and Flynn all received MOTM awards.

U14:

On Saturday, our Ruby’s played their Cup Final match and put in a fantastic performance. It’s definitely an experience that the girls will remember with plenty of positives to take from it all.

Ladies:

Kingswood United Ladies secured an emphatic 5-2 victory against Leven Ladies on Sunday. Maisie Grant was named as the POTM.
