A Week in the Life of KUFC #14

In our age groups, here’s all the stuff that went on throughout the last week:

Wildcats/Squad Girls:

The Wildcats held their bring a friend session on Wednesday night and welcomed five new girls who all enjoyed their free session. The individual trophy winners were Maisie, Penny, Oli, Demi, Lola and Sienna.

U7:

On Wednesday night, the Cobras took on Cottingham Rangers at Hull University. It was an outstanding effort by the boys as they played some wonderful football. Well done to Oliver and Morgan on picking up their MOTM trophies. The team hosted Bilton FC at Kinloss on Sunday and played out an entertaining encounter. Zach and Harvey were named as the MOTM.

The Vipers took part in a beach football tournament at Bridlington on Sunday. It was a superb experience for all the boys and they’ll look to do it again next year.

In addition to this, our Piranhas locked horns with Hall Road Rangers Cobras. The boys worked hard all over the pitch and it’s great to see them progressing as a team each week. Hudson and Henley both received MOTM trophies.

U8:

The Harriers took on Hessle Sporting Club Mosquitoes on Sunday. The boys had an amazing display which included excellent ball control, link play, defending and working the ball out from the back. Stanley, Arthur and Achillies all picked up MOTM awards.

Meanwhile, our Hawks had a trip to Beverley Town Tigers. The sides played out a really well matched contest and it was a great watch for all spectators. The MOTM trophies were given to Edward and Ollie H.

U9:

The Leopards made the trip to Westella & Willerby on Tuesday night. The team had to really work hard and they showed brilliant strength and resilience. Liam and Charlie were named as the MOTM. They then had a tough game away at Sproatley Juniors Titans on Sunday. The boys fought hard in the heat and the MOTM trophies were secured by Archie, Blake and Jacob.

Our Pearls were in U9 Cup Final action at Hull University on Saturday. In which, the girls played some brilliant football on a hot and sunny day and emerged victorious. Congrats to the whole team and to Summer on receiving her POTM trophy.

As well as this, the Tigers were on their travels as they headed to Great Driffield AFC on Sunday. It was an exciting match up between two great teams and the MOTM awards were received by Kieran and Leo.

U10:

The Krystals played their U10 Cup Final on Saturday which saw them come up against Hull United. All the girls put in a performance to be very proud of and showed excellent togetherness. Oliwia was named as the POTM.

The following day, the Kings travelled to Nafferton Youth Football Club. They put in a tremendous shift and played out a couple of great games. Jenson, Freddie, Jacob and Michael all received MOTM trophies.

U11:

Our Storms played some great games of futsal on Wednesday night. They showed excellent teamwork and were all working for each other.

On Sunday, the Cyclones were in action. Playing in hot conditions, the boys put in a big shift and some great football was on display. Philip, Finley and Nathon all accrued individual accolades.

The Tornados had a very tough encounter against North Ferriby FC. Both teams played some great football and the MOTM awards were picked up by Ethan and Zac.

Our Shadows finished their league campaign with a tough game against Sproatley Juniors Rhinos. The boys never gave up, battled throughout the game and showed some great teamwork. The MOTM trophy was given to Lincoln.

U12:

On Tuesday night, our Sharks locked horns with Hull United Whites at Kinloss. The team exhibited a fantastic performance throughout the whole game and every player deserved a MOTM trophy. The boys then had a very productive Friday night which saw them play some futsal and Walter was the star on the night. On Sunday, they faced Hessle Rangers Azzurri and put in another superb display. Max was handed the MOTM trophy. As they head into the U13 age group, the Sharks are looking for players to join them. If interested, please contact Chris on 07857937838

The Ambers faced Springhead Falcons on Wednesday night. The girls put in a terrific display and worked extremely hard as a team. Daisy, Miley and Meghan all received POTM awards. They subsequently had a tough game on Saturday against Hall Road Rangers. However, the team battled throughout the game and the POTM trophies were picked up by Miley, Imo and Lacie.

Kingswood United Thunder concluded their season on Sunday with a game against Bridlington Rangers Juniors Ravens. The boys exhibited a fantastic performance to mark the end of their 9v9 journey as they now move up to 11v11.

U13:

Our Typhoons took on Cottingham Rangers Dragons on Sunday. The team secured promotion after showcasing a very strong performance and all the boys got the parents MOTM award. The coaches MOTM award was given to Toby and Jake.
