Dear Coaches, Parents, Friends, and Family,

I hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying the summer break. As we look forward to the upcoming 2024-2025 football season, we are reminded of the incredible spirit and community that Kingswood United FC embodies. Our home, Kinloss Park, has always been more than just a place to play football; it is a gathering spot for our community, where friendships are forged and memories are made.

Last season, we faced unprecedented weather conditions that severely impacted our pitches. Determined to prevent such issues in the future, we successfully raised £8000 to invest in essential drainage work. Thanks to everyone's generosity, this critical work is complete, ensuring our pitches can recover much quicker than they did in the previous season.

However, while we have taken this significant step forward, our funds are now depleted. A considerable amount of work remains to ensure Kinloss Park is in playable condition for the start of the season. We are contacting you, our valued community, for your support.

We have organised a Pitch Maintenance Day on July 13, 2024, starting at 9 a.m. at Kinloss Park. We call on volunteers to help with various tasks, including pitch top soiling and levelling, re-seeding, trimming the hedges, weeding, litter picking, and general site housekeeping. Your participation is critical to ensuring our pitches and grounds are ready for our teams to train and play ahead of the 2024-2025 season.

We understand everyone's time is precious, especially during the summer, but we hope you can spare a few hours to help us maintain and improve our beloved Kinloss Park. Whether you are a coach, a parent, a player, or a friend of the club, your help will make a significant difference.

Please bring any tools, gloves, or equipment you might have. Your efforts will be greatly appreciated even if you can only stay for a short while. Refreshments will be provided to keep everyone energised and hydrated throughout the day.

Kinloss Park has always symbolised our collective effort and dedication. Let's come together once more to ensure that it remains a place we can all be proud of.
