These are the latest news stories from within the club:
Soccer School:
The Tuesday soccer school has held some terrific sessions in the last couple of weeks. The children worked on first touch, aerial trapping and 2v1 combinations. Louis, Cooper, Ethan, Theo, Lincoln and Sawyer were the recipients of the trophies.
We then hosted a very enjoyable Saturday session with coach Den. All the children put in lots of hard work.
Cubs/Wildcats/Squad Girls:
Our Cubs, Wildcats and Squad Girls hosted a fantastic session at Winifred Holtby on Wednesday night. Esmae, Maci, Daisy, Belle, Alissia, Wren, Lucia and Isla all took home individual awards.
U7:
On Saturday, our Piranhas completed a sponsored walk which saw them set off from Kinloss. After this, they played some football at Whistling Goose and had a very enjoyable day overall. The following day, they were invited to take on Grimsby Town Academy where they played three excellent matches. Everyone put in a big shift all over the pitch and did themselves proud.
U8:
On Sunday, the Pythons took on a strong Cosmos team in a very competitive encounter. The boys showcased their teamwork and all exhibited a solid performance. The MOTM trophies were awarded to Theo and Billy.
U9:
The Moonstones held a brilliant Halloween party on Saturday which was a lovely occasion for everyone. On Monday night, they were in training and enjoyed a very productive session which saw them work on things including fitness, passing and moving. Ella was named as the trainer of the week.
On Wednesday night, the Lionesses worked on dribbling and passing within their training session. Zoe picked up the trainer of the week award. They went on to play a friendly against Tickton Hawks on Saturday and put in a solid display. Layla, Sophia and Isla all took home individual awards.
Our Falcons exhibited plenty of hard work in their training session on Friday night. Gabriel was named as the trainer of the week. They headed to Haworth Park on Sunday to face off against Hull United Whites and both games were played at a frantic pace. Everyone put in a brilliant shift and the MOTM awards were given to Gabriel and Noah.
The Harriers contested two hard fought contests with Elloughton Blackburn on Sunday. All the boys worked extremely hard and played some terrific football. Toby and Jaxon took home MOTM awards.
U10:
On Sunday, the Leopards played out two great games at Esperanza. It was real end-to-end football with plenty of entertainment for all spectators. Archie and Blake were both named as the MOTM.
U11:
During midweek, the Kings had an excellent training session. All the boys worked their socks off with the individual awards going to Max and Jack.
On Saturday, our Krystals played a friendly against Cottingham and it was a good opportunity for the girls to try different positions on the pitch. Everyone put in a top shift with the individual accolades being received by Tallulah and Eliza.
The next day, the Arrows had a tough test against Cottingham Rangers Yellows. They can take lots of positives from the clash into future games. Harrison and Lewis both secured MOTM awards.
Our Vikings exhibited a fantastic display in their game. The boys absolutely smashed it and showcased some amazing skills. The individual accolades went to Rylee and Max.
U12:
Our Tornadoes put in an outstanding performance in their game at Cherry Burton on Sunday. It saw the boys display some slick one touch passing and put relentless pressure on their opposition. The MOTM trophies went to Travis and Olly S.
As well as this, the Cyclones played out a very tight contest with Howden AFC Hawks. Both teams battled hard and put in strong performances.
U13:
The Ambers held a great training session on Tuesday night. Gracie and Leni both secured themselves trainer of the week trophies. On Saturday, they exhibited a great team performance against the Sapphires. The POTM trophies were awarded to Daisy, Leni and Lacie.
Our Hornets operated the Tigers Tuck Shop at the Hull City game on Wednesday night. They were located in the South Stand and showed excellent initiative to raise funds for winter jackets for the team. On Sunday, they locked horns with AFC North in what was a tough game. The lads all dug deep and battled until the end and the MOTM awards were handed to Tyler and Jake.
KUFC Thunder were also in action on Sunday as they took on Hedon Rangers in a very even and good spirited game. Both teams played great football and the MOTM awards were picked up by Olly D and Ollie R.
The Sharks embarked on their football trip to Spain and they had a game against Atletic Mont Roig on Monday night. The boys exhibited a fabulous performance under the lights and created wonderful memories for themselves.
U14:
The Emeralds had a very good training session on Monday night. In which, they worked on their passing and boosted their stamina.
U15:
On Tuesday night, the Bulldogs maintained their fitness levels in their training session. They took part in sprints and races against each other. The boys then put in a wonderful team performance in their game against South Cave Sporting Club on Sunday. All of them showed great work rates and endeavour and the MOTM trophies were acquired by Archie G and Dyako.
Men’s:
The men’s team were on the wrong end of a 3-1 loss at Priory FC on Saturday. Their only goal of the game came through an Archie Moon penalty.
Ladies:
Kingswood United Ladies picked up a 3-2 victory over Great Driffield Ladies at Kingswood Academy on Sunday. Mel Walsh, Holly Richardson and Maisie Grant all grabbed goals and the latter also earned herself the POTM award.
