Our teams have had another busy and interesting week and here’s what occurred for them:
Wildcats/Squad Girls:
The Wildcats and Squad Girls saw 38 girls attend their Halloween themed session at Winifred Holtby on Wednesday night. Everyone wore their costumes and enjoyed the activities.
U7:
Our Piranhas played out a hard fought contest against Elloughton Blackburn on Sunday. They worked very hard as a team and put their work in training into practice on the pitch. Freddie H and Henley both earned themselves MOTM awards.
U8:
The Pythons had a trip to Great Driffield AFC on Sunday. All the boys put in an excellent performance and the recipients of the MOTM trophies were AJ, Charlie and Bobby.
Our Adders locked horns with Swanland FC at Kinloss. It was a well played game where the boys showed a lot of skill, determination and teamwork. The individual awards were given to Allen and Jasper.
U9:
Our Lionesses were invited along to the Wildcats and Squad Girls session. The girls all had a great night and Isla received the trainer of the week award. On Saturday, they played their inaugural Remembrance match as they had a trip to York to face Huntington Rovers. Everyone showed exquisite passing and work rates and the individual accolades went to Daisy, Layla and Lucy.
On Sunday, the Hawks had a brilliant game with Bridlington Rangers. The boys showed great confidence against their strong opposition and all had a solid performance throughout. Oliver and Rapha were named as the MOTM.
As well as this, our Falcons took on North Ferriby at Kinloss. The boys all put in a top performance and showed excellent togetherness in both games. The MOTM awards went to Ellis and Noah.
U10:
On Wednesday, the Leopards and their siblings visited the MKM Stadium for a tour. They all had a great time and finished the day with a carvery for their tea. On Sunday, they locked horns with Bridlington at Kinloss in what was a scrappy contest. The MOTM trophies were given to Jenson, Liam and Ollie.
The Lynxes entertained Hessle Rangers Aces at Kinloss on Sunday and both sides contested a great game. It was an end-to-end encounter and the MOTM awards were handed to Iesten, Fletcher and Noah.
In addition to this, our Tigers headed to Springhead where they exhibited a fantastic display. Stan, Spencer and Freddie all picked up MOTM awards.
U11:
Our Krystals hosted Beverley on Saturday in what was a tough encounter. All the girls continued to share game time and positions on the pitch giving them the chance to develop. Layla and Oliwia were named as the POTM.
Meanwhile, the Arrows continued their futsal campaign with an end-to-end game against Hedon Rangers. The following day, they had a trip to Pelican Rangers EHC and put in a tremendous shift. There were excellent performances all over the pitch and the MOTM trophies were given to Archie and Louie.
In their game, our Vikings covered every blade of grass and showed amazing teamwork. Illijah and Joel picked up the MOTM accolades.
U12:
On Sunday, our Tornadoes welcomed Sproatley Tigers to Kinloss. It was a very competitive game filled with some fantastic individual performances from the boys as they all worked hard for each other. Max and Oli S took home the MOTM trophies.
Meanwhile, the Storms exhibited a terrific display in their game. The boys are really starting to gel as a team and all enjoying their football.
U13:
Our Sharks continued their Spanish football trip with a tough game against Fundació Futbol Base Reus. They returned home with loads of memories to last a lifetime and then played some futsal games at St Mary’s.
U14:
The Emeralds had an absolutely fantastic runout on Saturday in their friendly against Beverley. Every girl gave it their all and the individual awards were received by Aanya, Rosie and Halle. They then had a very good training session on Monday night and worked on their dribbling skills and stamina. Hannah took home the trainer of the week award.
Our Typhoons completed a sponsored walk from Hornsea to Kinloss alongside the U15 Rubys, U16 Diamonds and Ladies teams. It was an outstanding effort by everyone and they had a very good experience. The lads were in action on Sunday against Tickton and battled hard. Lincoln, Alex and Blake acquired the MOTM awards.
U15:
On Thursday night, the Bulldogs worked on attacking and defending corners in their training session. They finished off with a short game.
Men’s:
Our men’s team picked up a 7-0 victory over Easington United Thirds at Kingswood Academy on Saturday.
Ladies:
Kingswood United Ladies recorded an 8-1 win at Bridlington Rangers Ladies on Sunday as they extended their unbeaten league run to six games. They did so thanks to five goals from Mel Walsh, an Izzy Grant brace and an Emily Myers effort. Grant was also the recipient of the POTM award.
Vets:
The vets side travelled to Appleby Frodingham on Sunday and came away with a 3-0 win. Sam Ellerington bagged a brace and Sean Lyons also got his name on the scoresheet.
