A Week in the Life of KUFC #42

Throughout our age groups, this is what happened for the KUFC teams last week:

Cubs/Wildcats:

The Cubs and younger Wildcats hosted an indoor session on Wednesday night. There were 21 girls that participated and they all had a lovely time with the trophies given to Amaiah, Olivia, Calisse and Amy.

U7:

From their sponsored walk a few weeks ago, it was announced that the Piranhas raised a total of £699.53. Amazing effort from the boys and big thanks to everyone that sponsored and supported them.

U9:

On Tuesday night, the Moonstones held a fantastic training session where all the girls showed amazing effort and work rate. The trainer of the week award was given to Matilda. They went on to enjoy another amazing session the following Monday night where they did a lot of passing and running. Georgie was awarded the trainer of the week accolade.

The following night, our Lionesses had an indoor session in which they had drills such as passing exercises and finished with a match. Hollie was awarded the trainer of the week trophy. With their game postponed on Saturday, a few of the girls met up at Monkey Bizness which was followed by a trip to McDonald’s.

The Falcons had a very good training session on Friday night. All the boys showed excellent work rate and Ellis acquired the trainer of the week award.

U10:

On Monday night, our Lions had a great futsal session. They played four very competitive games against the Avengers from the U11 age group and everyone put in a strong performance. Jacob came away with the star of the night award.

U11:

Our Vikings exhibited wonderful effort in their training session during midweek. They worked on overlapping the winger and Ollie was named as the trainer of the week.

U13:

The Hornets enjoyed a couple of productive training sessions which saw the team work very hard. Max was the recipient of the individual accolade.

On Sunday, our Sharks played a friendly against a very talented Scawthorpe Scorpions side. The boys passed the ball around with purpose and put in a brilliant display. Riverz earned himself the MOTM award.

U14:

The Emeralds held an excellent training session on Monday night in which they worked hard on shooting drills. The effort and determination from every player was outstanding and Alexa picked up the trainer of the week award.

U15:

Our Bulldogs locked horns with Bridlington Rangers Rhinos on Sunday. The entire team had to dig deep against strong opposition and exhibited wonderful strength and resilience all over the pitch. Ollie B picked up both MOTM awards.

Ladies:

Kingswood United Ladies returned to winning ways as they beat Great Driffield Ladies 4-0 on Sunday. Mel Walsh bagged a brace and the other goals were secured by Holly Richardson and Georgia Stockhill. The POTM trophy was also awarded to Stockhill.
